Questions We Hear a Lot
Yes. Year 1 is taught in English alongside an Integrated Hebrew Ulpan. Year 2 combines English and Hebrew, and from Year 3 you study in Hebrew, with support along the way.
The degree is accredited by the Council for Higher Education and ends with the Ministry of Health licensing exam. Every Ono OT graduate has passed it.
SAT 1140, ACT 23 or Psychometric 575, plus a high school GPA of 3.3 (or 85%). A previous bachelor's degree or 40 academic credits with an 85 average also works. You'll also have an interview, a language assessment and a health declaration.
Mechina/Preparatory Program:
Applicants who do not meet the direct admission requirements may apply to the Mechina/Preparatory Program, which requires a high school diploma with
a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or 80%).
Three and a half years, 7 semesters, with morning classes on the Kiryat Ono campus. That includes 1,000 hours of supervised clinical training.
Yes. Ono has scholarships for lone soldiers, outstanding students and students facing financial hardship. Olim can apply for Ministry of Aliyah and Integration support, and outside funds like Perach and IMPACT are open to you too.
